The Mirage Chasers
Where to begin? At the beginning, I suppose. Right now, one of the most powerful movements in the world is one that believes that the world is coming to an end because of man caused climate change calling it a crisis.
In many ways they are a classic example of a cult. I refer to them as the Climate Crisis Cult or CCC. They are led by prophets of doom, masquerading as scientists claiming to know that the world is in fact coming to an end soon.
They often go so far as to state when their forecasted climate catastrophe will occur, usually giving a date that is just a few years into the future and yet, every time that date arrives, it inevitably becomes apparent that their predictions fell flatter than Joe Biden going up a flight of stairs!
But at that point, rather than questioning their own acumen at prognostication, they predict another date, and this time they again claim with certainty to know when this global catastrophe is going to occur and how dare you question their prognostication skills!
Do you have an ivy league degree?
Are you a former bartender from New York? No?
Peasants! You’re just one of those science deniers who believe in silly things like “seasons” and “weather”.
You foolishly think that cyclic changes like that have been going on since the beginning of time! How unenlightened of you to believe such things that all of the smart people like Leonardo DiCaprio and Al Gore tell us are not true.
So, where exactly did this movement come from, and when did it begin? In his book, “Green Tyranny, Exposing the Totalitarian Roots of the Climate Industrial Complex”, the historian Rupert Darwall states,
“The human-generated global warming theory was formally launched by the Villach (Austria) Conference of 1985, which brought together the leading figures of the United Nations Environment Programme—an outgrowth of the Stockholm Conference of 1972, which was itself a product of the political machinations of Swedish prime minister Palme—and the World Meteorological Organization.”
Olof Palme:
In 1974, in an interview with the Swedish newspaper Svenska Dagbladet, the socialist Prime Minister of Sweden, Olof Palme, was the first politician of note to claim that the greatest crisis in the future was “The risk of climate change from human activities”.
This was a surprising claim, given the fact that at the time most people in the west would probably have said that the greatest crisis in the world was the potential for a nuclear war with Russia, but Olof Palme was a firm believer in human caused climate change
He also went on to make some very shocking and yet very telling statements. He said, “Interdependence is so important that we have to give up part of the national sovereignty... we cannot solve these long-term problems without democratic socialist ideas”.
Darwall then drew attention to some very enlightening statements Palme made, “A vision of utopia has the same function as a mirage in the desert, Palme explained. Without the mirage you wouldn't get to the next Oasis,”
In other words, it was his view and the view of the CCC, a socialist government is the only type of government that has the power to force people to do what politicians want them to do in order to fight climate change, but a politician has to give the people a utopian vision of the future that acts as a mirage for them to chase across the desert, knowing full well that pursuing that mirage will inevitably cause them to arrive at his “oasis”: a socialist government.
First, they must convince the people that they are in fact living in a desert. This is why the socialists in our society are constantly attacking capitalism and any form of energy that they don't consider to be a green form of energy.
They then must provide a beautiful utopia for people to chase after that behaves much the same as any mirage in the desert; it is always within view but just out of reach, a common characteristic of every prognostication the prophets leading the CCC have ever made.
These predictions are typically about 10 to 15 years into the future. Why is that? It is a date chosen that is not so far away that people will ignore it as too far away to worry about, and yet it is not so close that people will feel that it is too late to act on these predictions of impending doom.
Every forecasted date has always had the same characteristics as a mirage, it is always within view but just out of reach, and every time we arrive at their predicted date of a global catastrophe, we discover that these prophets have simply moved the date back another 10 to 15 years.
Personally, I have often wondered how many times these false prophets will do this before more people realize that they are just chasing a mirage and destroying our countries in the process.
A major issue with the CCC is the fact that they are incapable of self-reflection. They cannot look at themselves and question their own capacity to predict the future even after all their predictions have been proven wrong.
It is true that over the years there have been some members of the CCC who have broken ranks and come to their senses, but for the most part rather than choosing self-reflection they have simply made more predictions about the future and silenced anyone who dares to question their predictions and their capacity to make those predictions.
There are also those members of the CCC in our state and local governments, particularly our governor and his allies, who see this as an opportunity for the taxpayers to benefit in some way or even make money from this green energy scam.
This “benefit” is also a mirage because almost all money made from this scam comes directly from the taxpayers in the first place! It doesn’t come from capitalism or hard work. No, it comes directly from the government’s capacity to take that money from the taxpayers, but only a few people make any money. Everyone else just gets fleeced!
It seems as if many politicians here in Oklahoma have been deceived into believing how great it will be if we just let them blanket our entire state with wind turbines, solar panels, carbon capture, or some other form of green energy foolishness.
This is where we the people must step in!
Right now, it is crucial for each one of us to contact our legislators in this state to wake them up and let them know that we are not on board with their continued mirage chasing. We must make it clear to them that we will not tolerate our elected officials destroying our state with any element of the green new scam. All of it must stop! All of it must go! No more mirage chasers!
They would have you believe that they are committed supporters of President Trump at the very moment when they are working overtime to even sell us out to other countries like Denmark, which goes right alongside Olof Palme’s prediction that nations would give up their national sovereignty to fight climate change.
Right now, it is vital that everyone who loves our state the way it is and wants to save it from the depredations of the climate industrial complex, to send a message to all of our elected officials that we expect them to be Oklahoma first individuals or come next election cycle they will find themselves hanging out with the former representative of HD32 in retirement!
If we are to preserve the beauty and magnificence of our state, we the citizens of Oklahoma must stand up against the green mirage and mirage chasers who unfortunately have been wrecking our state for quite some time now. But the days of us sitting back and allowing them to destroy our state are over! Fortunately, we have a few new senators and representatives like Jim Shaw and others who will have none of it!
It's a new day in Oklahoma and those trying to implement the green new scam here are about to be defeated quicker than Kamala Harris [MR1] [rk2] on election night! If we don’t make a stand now in the state of Oklahoma the way the nation did on November 5th, quite soon it will be too late and our state will look like the dystopian hellscape J.D. Vance talked to Joe Rogan about, and I for one am not about to let that happen! Will you?
